Sex and Relationship psychotherapy

In Brighton, Hove and Online

How can therapy help you?

Difficulties with sex, intimacy or relationships can be confusing, frustrating, or isolating, and it’s not always easy to talk about them. Even conventional talking therapy can sometimes side-step issues around sex and sexuality.

My work as a sex and relationship therapist is to provide specialist help in these areas, and a thoughtful, informed and non-judgmental space where your experiences can be worked through at your own pace.

Therapy provides an opportunity for you to explore your family of origin (the family system you grew up in) and the patterns that emerge from this throughout your lifetime. We will touch on cultural and societal messages that may have been unconsciously absorbed, and I will support you in real time to start disrupting patterns that no longer protect or help you; to make changes that are meaningful for you to live a more fulfilled life.

Together, we can look at what sex and relationships could be, the positive impact this can have on your life overall, and how you might move toward that in a way that feels right for you.
