Fee’s and FAQ’s

    • Individual session: £85 per session

    • Couples session: £120 per session

  • I offer a limited number of concession rate sessions. Please get in contact if you’d like to apply.

  • Each session lasts for 50 minutes. This is the same for individual sessions, couples sessions, in-person and online.

  • No. Sex and relationship psychotherapy is strictly a talking based therapy. I am not a medical doctor. There is no touch during our sessions, and no medical investigations are conducted.

I will take a full case history including medical history and any medication you are currently taking. If you are experiencing symptoms that I think need medical evaluation, and you have not yet seen a doctor about this, I can signpost you to a medical specialist for further investigation.

Sometimes I will suggest exercises that you can do at home, either alone or with your partner. I may also give you educational or anatomical material during the session but I would always ask for your consent beforehand.

  • The number of sessions you need depend on your individual circumstances and what you’ve come to therapy to work on. This will be discussed and mutually agreed upon in our first sessions.

A short course of 8-10 sessions may be suitable, or longer terms therapy may be more appropriate. Reviews would be made regularly.

You are welcome back anytime for a top-up session after your initial course of therapy. Many people appreciate this and find it helpful to reach out to stay on track.

  • I have regular supervision with a registered supervisor who follows COSRT ethics and confidentiality. I discuss cases in these sessions, but minimise identifying details.

Except for supervision, unless I believe there is risk of harm to yourself or others, or a legal reason, our sessions are confidential. If I think there is a risk, I will usually discuss it with you first.

When I work with a couple, I do not keep secrets for either person and will treat what you say as meant to be worked on in therapy.

  • Yes, I work with people and couples of any sexual orientation and gender identity.

I am a queer ally and therefore committed to educating myself, listening to and learning from the LGBTQIA+ community.

  • I work with polyamorous couples and individuals, however currently due to my capacity to hold space with integrity, I only offer therapy sessions to partnerships of a maximum of two people.
